eauYES brings sparkle to UK drinks market
eauYES has entered the UK soft drinks market with a range of flavoured sparkling mineral waters which are rich in minerals and electrolytes to support hydration and overall wellness.
Initially targeting the independent retail sector, the drinks are positioned as the UK’s first flavoured sparkling mineral water. The brand’s debuting with six variants: Pineapple Coconut, Raspberry Lime, Lemon, Sour Apple, Pink Grapefruit and Orange Blossom.
Using water sourced from a spring, naturally filtered through mountain rock, they contain no sugar, sweeteners or calories and are made with two ingredients: mineral water and natural flavouring.
The brand was founded by third-generation water specialist Mazen Baaklini, whose family has managed the water source since the mid-1990s. This source, on Mount Sannine in Lebanon, is within a protected cedar reserve established by the family, which has planted more than 30,000 cedar trees over three decades to safeguard the surrounding environment.
“We’re so excited to be bringing eauYES to the UK,” says Baaklini. “More than 99% of sparkling water brands on the market are heavily processed and stripped of essential minerals and electrolytes. This lack of basic hydration from water is leading consumers to look elsewhere for mineral replenishment and supplementation.
“Our journey starts at the source, a clean, untouched, naturally mineral-rich spring, untouched for 100 million years on preserved land in the Mediterranean, which has been cared for by our family for over 30 years. That’s what makes our range different. No artificial processing, no preservatives, no shortcuts. Just clean water, full of life, as nature intended it to be.
“We’re on a mission to inspire people to say ‘yes, yes’ to hydration that feels good, does good and tastes incredible. A better taste for life. We can’t wait to hear what UK customers think.”
The company is certified by Carbon Neutral Britain and donates 1p from every can sold to mental health charity YoungMinds.
