Green People invest in vegan skin defence

The latest launch from Green People is Advanced Pro-Collagen Skin Defence, a vegan formulation designed to support the body’s natural collagen production.

The supplement is built around Vollagen, a plant-based amino acid complex produced through precision fermentation. Rather than using marine or bovine collagen, the formula provides amino acids and nutrients that support the body’s own collagen formation, alongside vitamin C, grape seed extract, superoxide dismutase, zinc and copper.

For Green People founder Charlotte Vøhtz, Advanced Pro-Collagen Skin Defence is the result of a deeply personal journey. Her interest in collagen began when her daughter, Alexandra (Sandra), was diagnosed with Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome, a connective tissue disorder.

Charlotte shares: “I’ve always believed that healthy skin starts from within. A balanced diet and healthy lifestyle come first, but the right nutrients can support the body’s own collagen-forming processes, alongside good skincare and daily sun protection.

“My daughter’s diagnosis sparked a profound interest in collagen and connective tissue health. Advanced Pro-Collagen Skin Defence is the result. It is designed to work alongside a balanced diet, daily sun protection and good skincare to support healthy skin from within. While it is not intended to treat any medical condition, it is, with love, dedicated to Sandra’s memory.”

The supplement is suitable for adults at every stage of life and is free from dairy, gluten, wheat, soya, gelatine, artificial colours, preservatives and unnecessary additives. In an independent 60-day consumer study of 55 women aged 30 to 60 who took 1,000mg of Vollagen daily, two-thirds (66%) reported visible improvements in their skin.
