Neal’s Yard opens ‘store of the future’ for Manchester
Neal’s Yard Remedies has opened a new store at Manchester Arndale, relocating from its former King Street site where it had traded since 2015.
The brand has signed a ten-year lease on a 873sq ft unit which will showcase its range of natural and organic skincare, bath and body products, essential oils, herbal remedies, beauty and wellness gifts.
Designed to reflect Neal’s Yard’s apothecary heritage, the space provides customers with ‘a sensorial retail environment’ where they will be able to get personalized wellbeing advice and explore the benefits of natural beauty.
Commenting on the new store, the brand’s CEO and co-owner Anabel Kindersley says: “We are thrilled to be opening our new store at Manchester Arndale – bringing our Store of the Future concept that we’ve pioneered at our flagship store in London to this vibrant city. We look forward to serving Manchester’s beauty community, offering our award-winning formulations and a personalized instore experience tailored to every customer’s wellbeing need.”
In addition to featuring blue ceramic tiles to complement the brand’s signature blue glass bottles, and an apothecary-style aromatherapy wall where customers can explore a range of essential oils, the store houses a preserved oak tree which mirrors its iconic logo.
Scott Linard, portfolio manager for M&G Real Estate, added: “Securing a ten-year commitment from such a respected and established brand is a major endorsement of our offer.”
