Mr Organic partners with Better Food for Organic September Takeover
Mr Organic is teaming up with Bristol independent Better Food for Organic September this year.
The brand will stage a month-long takeover across all four of the retailer’s stores, including a collaboration with chef, author and influencer Elly Pear.
The organic brand has launched the partnership to encourage consumers to ‘Grab Some Organic’ during the month-long push, with a programme designed to reconnect shoppers with organic food through recipes, storytelling and in-store engagement.
As part of the initiative, Pear has created a chickpea puttanesca-style salad using a selection of Mr Organic ingredients. The dish will feature in cafes across Better Food stores, while recipe cards, branded point-of-sale materials and social media activity will support the campaign. Pear will also share the recipe on her Instagram page which has nearly 300,000 followers.
“We hope that everyone who visits the cafes enjoy the special recipe ... and will be inspired to make the switch to organic food that is better for our bodies and better for the planet.”
Valerio Simonetti, third-generation tomato producer and founder of Mr Organic, says: “We are proud to partner with Better Foods this Organic September. With both of us sharing the same vision for wanting to make healthy, organic food accessible, we look forward to making a collective impact. We hope that everyone who visits the cafes enjoy the special recipe that Elly Pear has created using Mr Organic’s products and will be inspired to make the switch to organic food that is better for our bodies and better for the planet.”
Organic pop-up
Mr Organic will further support the Organic September campaign with a pop-up event at Better Food’s St Werburghs’ store on 18 September.
The event will include sampling of Pear’s recipe, a competition to win Mr Organic products and a special appearance from the retailer’s founder Phil Haughton.
