Lakrids by Bülow is gearing up for the festive season with the launch of its new Winter collection.

The range features returning favourites, a new flavour and a selection of giftable formats. It sees the return of Classic Caramel, Crispy Raspberry and Frozen Mint, alongside new flavour Cherry Sour, which combines sweet liquorice and creamy white chocolate with crunchy cherry granules and a sweet-sour taste.

The collection also introduces Large Mixed, a jar containing Cherry Sour, Classic Caramel and Crispy Raspberry, while Large Classic Caramel offers a larger format dedicated to the brand’s caramel flavour.

Lakrids Advent Calendar and Large Advent Calendar will also return. The latter is shaped like the brand’s signature giant liquorice jar and contains four pieces behind each door, including seasonal favourites, rare creations and new flavours.

“Christmas is full of flavours you know and love,” says Francisca Listov-Saabye, head of product development at Lakrids by Bülow. “Naturally, we couldn’t resist adding liquorice. It’s our favourite way to surprise those who think liquorice isn’t for them – because one taste can change everything. And with Cherry Sour joining the collection this year, there’s a delicious new sweet-and-sour twist waiting to be discovered.”

A spooky treat

Lakrids by Bülow has also announced a limited-edition Halloween return under the theme ‘Rest In Pieces’. Sea Buckthorn, described by the brand as the ‘lemon of the North’, is returning for the spooky season after becoming a cult favourite.

The flavour pairs soft liquorice with smooth white chocolate infused with sea buckthorn and a crisp shell, combining sweet, sour and savoury notes. ‘Striking in colour and unforgettable in taste’, Sea Buckthorn combines its vibrant orange hue with a sharp, sweet tart profile.

Designed for elevated Halloween moments, the brand says the gourmet treat is perfect for everything from film marathons and costume parties to trick or treating.
