IBIS Rice snapped up by Abel & Cole
Planet-positive organic rice label IBIS Rice has secured a new listing with leading sustainable retailer Abel & Cole in a ‘momentous step forward’ for the Cambodian wildlife-friendly brand which already has the endorsement of conservationist Chris Packham.
Purpose-driven
With the full IBIS Rice range now available on Abel & Cole’s virtual shelves, the partnership allows the brand to bring its unique purpose-driven products to a broader customer base in the UK, introducing more people to ‘the real taste of conservation’.
Nick Spencer, CEO of IBIS Rice Conservation Co, comments: “We are absolutely thrilled to have partnered with Abel & Cole. It is not an understatement to say that their values perfectly align with those of IBIS Rice. As we look to grow the business here in the UK, while supporting Cambodian farmers and protecting indigenous wildlife, this is a dream partnership for us.”
On behalf of Abel & Cole Ed Ayton, sustainability and ethics advisor, adds: “With their tireless efforts to reduce deforestation, help endangered species and improve the quality of life for thousands of small farmers, IBIS Rice is a truly special brand for us to partner with. We’re incredibly proud to help them launch in the UK, and, when they hear the incredible story, our customers will be too.”
